The Newcastle Budgerigar Club is a not for profit incorporated body covering Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley and surrounding areas with the purpose of encouraging the interest of fanciers and the general public in the breeding and development of Budgerigars. 

The Newcastle Budgerigar Club also welcomes members from outside of the region.
